The Pre-Party at Benchmark SF will be held on Friday, October 28th with DJ sets, free food from El Burrito Express, and free drinks for everyone +21, as well as climbing clinics and open access to the gym and rental gear. We hope to bring new and experienced climbers together.

CLINICS

The Philosophy of Climbing

Kimbrough Moore has been climbing 30 years and is the author of several climbing guides. He has made hundreds of first ascents in California, China, and Colombia. Kimbrough has a PhD in Philosophy, and when not at the rocks, he teaches at San Francisco State University.

Bouldering Technique

Learn technique from Arc'teryx Ambassador Lucho Rivera, who has spent half his life climbing in the High Sierra, Yosemite and the San Francisco Bay Area. He’s established first ascents in Yosemite Valley, Hetch Hetchy, Tuolumne Meadows, and around the Bay Area coastline.

Arc'teryx x All Rise Clinics

We will be hosting climbing clinics prior to the pre-party from 8PM-9PM led by Arc'teryx Athletes and Ambassadors with very limited spots open. Jordan Cannon will be leading an Advanced bouldering footwork class, Mercotti Sanders will be leading an Intro to Bouldering class and Mike Manuel will be leading an Intro to Top Rope class.

All RISE FESTIVAL

A day long celebration of the outdoors with an emphasis on inclusion and accessibility. Our goal is to reimagine the traditional climbing competition by creating an event that highlights climbers of all skill levels and backgrounds. Our day festival will feature national and local climbers as well as a variety of musicians, DJs, and prominent outdoor figures.

At it’s core, this event will be about giving back. All money raised through ticket sales, raffle tickets, and donations will go towards a handful of charity organizations that are focused on bridging socioeconomic gaps.
